When you start Microsoft Access version 2.0 in the Czechoslovakian edition
of Microsoft Windows version 3.1, you may receive the error message:
Outdated 'COMMDLG.DLL' file. Please reinstall Microsoft AccessCAUSE Microsoft Access 2.0 requires version 3.10.0.103 or later of the COMMDLG.DLL file. Because the Czechoslovakian edition of Windows uses an earlier version of this file, and because Microsoft Access version 2.0 does not supply a more current version of this file, the error occurs.
RESOLUTION There is no new version of the Czechoslovakian COMMDLG.DLL file at this time. There is currently no workaround for this problem.
STATUS Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access version 2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. |
