    Article ID: Q121046
    Creation Date: 25-SEP-1994
    Revision Date: 19-SEP-1996

The information in this article applies to:

    • Microsoft Access version 2.0

    SYMPTOMS

There are two invalid OLE verbs listed in the CONSTANT.TXT file and the Microsoft Access Help system. These verbs are:

       VERB_INPLACEUIACTIVATE (-4)

       VERB_INPLACEACTIVATE (-5)

Microsoft Access can only use values from 0 to -3.

You cannot use these verbs to in-place activate OLE objects. For information about how to in-place activate OLE objects, see the "References" section later in this article.

    RESOLUTION

Disregard references to the VERB_INPLACEUIACTIVATE and VERB_INPLACEACTIVATE constants in the CONSTANT.TXT file and the Microsoft Access Help system.
