SYMPTOMS
The report output in a particular field is displayed as decimal
numbers. For example, 0.4375 is printed instead of the text you entered.
This behavior occurs if the field name is a valid time or date (for
example, a field named "10:30" or "9/13/94").
WORKAROUND
Change the field name to something other than a valid time or date. For
example, you could use the field name "time10:30" for a time and
"date9/13/94" for a date.
-or-
Place quotation marks to the left of the number. For example, type "10:30
(with the quotation marks) in the field.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem does not occur in Works 3.x and Works 4.x. Format the cell or
field as text prior to entering any information.
