SYMPTOMS

If you are using Microsoft Project for Windows along with App Meter metering software, and you are working with a consolidated file on a network system, you may receive a general protection (GP) fault, or your computer may hang.


WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do either of the following:

NOTE: Another possible workaround is to set switches for AMWIN.EXE. For more information about these switches, call Funk Software at (617) 497- 6339.


MORE INFORMATION

If you are using App Meter and Microsoft Project for Windows, and you are also using a consolidated project file with the working directory pointing to any network drive, your system may hang or you may be forced to exit Windows when you close the Consolidated file or when you attempt to quit Microsoft Project.
