Margins Print Incorrectly from Outline View

SYMPTOMS

Page margins print incorrectly when you print from outline view. For example, your margins may revert to 1.25 inches even though you set your left and right margins to 1 inch.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word versions 2.x, 6.0, 6.0a, and 6.0c for Windows and in Word version 6.0 for the Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

Print your document from either page layout or normal view.
