MSQuery: Query Can Be Created Against Read-Only Access Table |
In Microsoft Query you can create of a query that accesses a read- only table or database. This functionality differs from that of Microsoft Access, which does not allow a query to be created against a read-only database.
This functionality is by design. Microsoft Query can create queries against a read-only Microsoft Access table or database because it does not alter the existing data in the Access database.
