Bookmark at Beginning of Document Is Not Saved in Template |
Q122231
When you define a bookmark at the beginning of a new document or template, add another bookmark in the header or footer, and then save the document as a template, the bookmark at the beginning of the document is deleted. The bookmark in the header is retained.
We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
Word provides a predefined bookmark for the beginning of your document. You can go to this position in your document by pressing CTRL+HOME. If you are writing macros, you can use the predefined bookmark \StartOfDoc to refer to the beginning of the document.
