SUMMARY
=======
When you use the Newsletter PageWizard to create a newsletter, you may want
to alter the appearance of items that appear on every page, such as the
page numbers or the title, or you may want to add other text, such as the
date or issue number. This article describes methods for changing and
adding elements to the Newsletter PageWizard heading.
To modify objects on the background page(s) of a completed newletter
--------------------------------------------------------------------
1. From the Page menu, choose Go To Background.
2. Click the appropriate text frame and make changes needed.
NOTE: The pound sign (#) in the page number text frame is not a
character, but rather a placeholder for automatic page numbering. If you
inadvertently delete the pound sign, you can reinsert it by choosing
Insert Page Numbers from the Page menu.
3. Add new text frames, pictures, or drawings to the background page as you
would for any other Publisher page.
NOTE: Every object on this page can be covered by foreground page
objects, and text on the foreground page will not wrap around background
page objects. To have background page pictures seen through a foreground
text frame, set the shading of the forground text frame to Clear.
4. To modify the second background page, click the other Background Page
button in the lower-left corner of the page window.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary.
6. To return to the foreground pages, choose Go To Foreground from the Page
menu.
MORE INFORMATION
================
The Newsletter PageWizard sets up the number of background pages dependent
on the choice you select. It sets up one background page for a
single-sided newsletter and two background pages for a double-sided
newsletter.
The PageWizard places a page number and an optional title on each
background. Each of these elements is placed in an individual text frame at
the top of the page.
With a double-sided newsletter, the background pages are laid out in an
even-odd page arrangement; the left page is for the even-numbered pages,
and the right page is for the odd-numbered pages.
On the even-numbered background page, the page number is left justified in
the upper-left corner of the page. The optional title is right justified in
the upper-right portion of the page.
On the even-numbered background page, the page number is right justified in
