=================
The following is a detailed description of the procedure:
1. Create a business card by choosing Start From Scratch, or use the
PageWizard and create a single business card.
If you chose the PageWizard, when the screen asks, "How many
copies of the business card would you like?", select:
One, in the center of the page. (The crop marks indicate
the 3.5-by-2-inch paper size.)
If you are creating the card from scratch:
a. From the Page menu, choose Page Setup.
b. Select Special Size.
c. Select Business Card.
d. Choose OK. (The size of the paper will be 3.5-by-2 inches.)
e. Create the business card.
f. Change the paper size back to 8.5-by-11 inches by repeating step a
and choosing Normal for the paper size.
2. Group the card as one object by doing the following. Grouping the card
makes it easy to copy, paste, and move the additional cards into
position.
a. From the Edit menu, choose Select All.
b. Click the Grouping button under the lower-right side of the business
card.
3. Copy the object to the Clipboard by choosing Copy Group from the Edit
menu.
4. To create layout guides for 10 business cards on an 8.5-by-11-inch
sheet of paper:
a. From the Layout menu, choose Layout Guides.
b. Change the Left and Right Margin Guides settings to .5 inch, and the
Top and Bottom to .75 inch.
c. Select 2 Columns and 5 Rows.
d. Choose OK. This creates 10 sections to allow placement of each
card.
5. From the Tools menu, choose Snap To Guides. Move the business card you
created in step 1 into one of the sections on the page by doing the
following:
a. Select the business card. The Mover mouse cursor will appear.
b. Drag the object into place.
NOTE: If you used the PageWizard to create the business card, grouping
will include the crop marks, and the group will be larger than 3.5-by-2
inches. When you move the group into place, use the crop marks to align
the bottom-left corner crop marks with the bottom-left corner of the
section you are moving it into.
6. Paste the next business card onto the page by choosing Paste Objects
from the Edit menu. (The object will come into the publication right on
top of the original.)
7. Move the business card into the next empty section.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until the sections are full. If you used the
PageWizard to create the business card, remove the crops marks so they
will not print.
Ungroup each card by selecting the card, clicking the Grouping button in
the bottom-right corner, selecting the lines that make up the crop marks,
and deleting them.
