SYMPTOMSAfter generating an "Internal Consistency Error," FoxPro exits to Windows and gives a general protection (GP) fault. This problem occurs when transporting a FoxPro for MS-DOS report if, in the Transporter's Font dialog, you change the default font for the MS-DOS report to anything other than Courier.
RESOLUTIONDo not use the Transporter's Font dialog to change the default font of a report. First transport the report; then change the font in the FoxPro for Windows Report Writer.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0 for Windows.

Steps to Reproduce ProblemWARNING: This will cause a GP fault. 1. Create a Report in FoxPro for MS-DOS. 2. Start FoxPro for Windows version 2.6a. 3. Open the FoxPro for MS-DOS report, to invoke the Transporter. 4. Choose the Font button in the Transport Dialog. 5. Change the font to something other than the default font of Courier. 6. Choose the OK button.
