PRB: Error Using Graph, UnboundObjectFrame in TypeOf Statement

    Page 163 of the Microsoft Access version 2.0 "Building Applications" manual states that you can use Graph or UnboundObjectFrame as a valid controltype argument in an "If TypeOf <control> Is <controltype>" expression. If you use either of these arguments, however, you receive one of the following error messages:

    • Invalid subclass 'UnboundObjectFrame' referred to in TypeOf function

      -or-

    • Invalid subclass 'Graph' referred to in TypeOf function

    RESOLUTION

    Neither Graph nor UnboundObjectFrame is a valid controltype argument. They are listed on page 163 in error.
