SUMMARY
Peirce Print Tools is an add-on package for Apple's QuickDraw GX printing
architecture. Its nine printing options let you personalize your documents,
and conserve supplies such as toner, ink, and paper. It also contains two
utilities that allow you to share and manage printers.
The following table lists the features included with Peirce Print Tools.
This feature Allows you to do the following
Log Track printer usage. This allows you to bill
users for expensive materials. You can also
track custom data, such as PO numbers, for each
print job.
WaterMark Print text (such as DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, or your own
words) or pictures in the background of your pages
in a specified shade of gray.
Border Frame your page with a variety of elegant borders.
Pamphlet Print a single-fold pamphlet from any application.
PaperSaver Save money and paper by printing 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, or
16 pages on each printed page. Use this feature to
print drafts, thumbnails, or handouts.
InkSaver Save money on ink and toner by adjusting the
darkness when you print. Great for draft printing.
DoubleSider Easily print on both sides of the paper.
BackToFront Print your pages in reverse order.
CoverPage Add an informative and fun cover page to each print
job. Add a message or a picture as well as user
name, page count, date, and so on.
Direct Quickly and easily see a top-level summary of all of
Settings your current printing settings.
Group Settings Save your favorite combinations of settings as a
and Printer group.
