SYMPTOMS

In Creative Writer, when you print a card to a Hewlett Packard (HP) DeskJet 500C or 550C printer, colored borders may appear as solid green, with the actual border shapes appearing very faintly underneath the solid green border.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you use version 3.0 of the HP DeskJet driver.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, upgrade to version 3.1 or later of the HP DeskJet 500C or 550C driver.
