FIX: Extension Conflict with TearOFF Menus

SYMPTOMS

Using TearOFFs menu extension for the Macintosh may cause FoxPro to crash when you choose a hierarchical menu selection.

NOTE: TearOFFs is manufactured by a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding its performance or reliability.

CAUSE

This is caused by an extension conflict.

RESOLUTION

Disable TearOFFs while working in FoxPro.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0b for Macintosh.
