BUG: Stack Fault When Building Project

SYMPTOMS

A Stack Fault in Module Unknown occurs when building a project in the Project Manager.

CAUSE

There is a Bitmap referenced by a memory variable.

RESOLUTION

Give the path and the name of the bitmap file.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. Enter the following in the Command window:

   MODIFY COMMAND test

2. Add the following code to TEST.PRG:

   bmp1="fox.bmp"
   @ 9.231,33.60 SAY ;
       (LOCFILE(bmp1,"BMP|ICO|PCT|ICN", "Where is "+bmp1+"?")) ;
       BITMAP SIZE 3.769,9.400 ISOMETRIC STYLE "T"

3. Add TEST.PRG to a project in the Project Manager.

4. Build the project.

A Stack Fault in Module Unknown error occurs when you build the project. It will not occur in the program outside of the project.
