SYMPTOMS

Creative Writer may start up in black and white on your color monitor.

RESOLUTION

To run the program in color, press the key combination ALT+TAB to go to Program Manager, then press ALT+TAB to return to Creative Writer.

Alternatively, you can press the key combination CTRL+SHIFT+A to go to the Creative Writer Control Room, then choose Return To Creative Writer from the File menu in Control Room.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Creative Writer for Windows, versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.1a. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
