BUG: FoxDoc GP Faults When Default Index Extension Set to IDXID: Q123656 2.60a WINDOWS kbtool kbbuglist The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSA general protection (GP) fault occurs in FOXDOC.FLL at 0003:96F7 when a program contains the following command and the FoxDoc default extension for indexes is set to IDX:
WORKAROUNDSet the FoxDoc default extension for indexes to CDX. Changing the Default Extensions/Index Files to CDX prevents the GP fault.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
