SYMPTOMS
When you use the Apple Adjustable Keyboard (Apple's ergonomic keyboard)
with CAPS LOCK turned on, and you start Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word,
the CAPS LOCK light on the keyboard is turned off, although CAPS LOCK is
actually still on.
Note that this problem also occurs when you switch to either of the above
applications from another application.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.

Note that the CAPS LOCK indicator on the Apple Adjustable Keyboard is
a light on the CAPS LOCK key; the CAPS LOCK key is not physically
depressed when CAPS LOCK is turned on as it is on other Apple
keyboards.
