XL5: Chart Type Defaults to Column

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel, when you open a chart created in Microsoft Excel 4.0, it may be opened as a column chart instead of the chart type you specified.


CAUSE

This behavior occurs only when the DefaultChart= line in your EXCEL5.INI file has been manually edited to point to an invalid chart type.
