Registry Editor Hangs When You Select a Key

SYMPTOMS

When you run Registry Editor and select a key with the mouse and press ENTER at the same time, the computer stops responding (hangs) or you receive and Out of Memory error message.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server version 3.5. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.5.
