BUG: SQL Service Manager Is Monochrome When Colors Are > 256 |
Q124174
The SQL Server Service Manager (also known as the Stop Light applet) appears in monochrome (black and white) on Windows NT version 3.5 systems when the video system has been configured to display more than 256 colors.
You can use the SQL Service Control Manager in this monochrome mode, or reconfigure the Windows NT machine for 256 or less colors.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 4.2.
