Using The Microsoft Network Explorer

SUMMARY

When you sign in to The Microsoft Network, the Desktop window (also called MSN Central) appears with buttons you can use to navigate The Microsoft Network. You can also use The Microsoft Network Explorer to navigate. To use The Microsoft Network Explorer to navigate, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to The Microsoft Network.

  2. Use the right mouse button to click the The Microsoft Network icon.

  3. On the menu that appears, click Explore.

With The Microsoft Network Explorer, you can view the hierarchy of folders and files on The Microsoft Network. When you use The Microsoft Network Explorer, you see a window with two panes. The pane on the left displays the folders and files on The Microsoft Network. The pane on the right displays the contents of whatever you click in the pane on the left.

The folders in The Microsoft Network Explorer do not have different icons for closed and open folders.
