SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you make global changes to a resource calendar, these changes appear as individual calendar exceptions on reports (for example, the changes will appear as individual exceptions on the Resource report).

CAUSE

When you make a resource calendar exception in a given month after making a global exception within the same month, the global exceptions for that month to change to individual exceptions.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
