SYMPTOMSWhen a field or text label has opaque and gray-filled attributes, Print Preview displays correct shading but the actual printout does not.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior1. Choose Open from the File menu and open the Salesman table. 2. In the Command window, type CREATE REPORT. 3. Choose Quick Report from the Report Menu. 4. Choose OK in the Quick Report Dialog. 5. Point to and click any field in the report. 6. Choose Mode from the Object menu and select Opaque. 7. Choose Fill Color from the Object menu, and select any gray color. 8. Close and save the report. 9. Choose Report from the Run menu, and send it to preview. 10.
