The SQL dialog box is available by choosing the SQL button from the Microsoft Query toolbar or by choosing SQL from the View menu. You can use this dialog box to view or edit the SQL statement for a particular query. While you are editing the SQL statement, you can press ENTER to create a new line in the statement. Because of this functionality, you must press COMMAND+O to close the SQL dialog box using the keyboard or choose the OK button. This behavior is by design. Note also that this behavior is the same as it is in Microsoft Query for Windows. Note that in Microsoft Query for Windows, you can press ALT+O to close the SQL dialog box as is indicated by an underline character below the O in OK, or you can press TAB until the OK button is selected, and then press ENTER. Note also that on the Macintosh system, most dialog boxes do not have accelerator keys.
