SUMMARYThe letter that accompanies the Word 6.0 for the Power Macintosh fulfillment disks incorrectly states that you will be prompted for Disk 2. Disk 2 is not included with the fulfillment disks and is not requested by the Installer. In addition, other disks (such as Disk 13) may be skipped, depending on the type of installation you choose. Disk 2 is skipped because it contains the Word program file written for Word 6.0 for the Macintosh. This article contains the text of the cover letter in the "Contents" section below.
MORE INFORMATIONThe original Word 6.0 for the Macintosh disk set contains 10 disks: Disks 1 through 10. The Word for the Power Macintosh fulfillment disk set contains 7 disks: Disk 1 and Disks 11 through 16. Disk 1 of the Word for the Power Macintosh set replaces Disk 1 of the original Word for the Macintosh disk set.
