SYMPTOMSInserting an object in a General field causes a general protection (GP) fault.
CAUSEFoxPro overflowed a local buffer while attempting to build the Type popup of the server name dialog.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in FoxPro version 2.6a for Windows.

Steps to Reproduce Problem1. Execute the following code:
2. Select the Insert Object... option from the Edit menu pad.
