This information is incorrect. To install Microsoft Works 3.0, your computer must have at least 4 MB of memory.

The minimum system requirements for Works 3.0 are as follows:
  • MS-DOS operating system version 3.1 or later.
  • Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1 or later.
  • A personal computer using a 386SX or higher microprocessor.
  • 4 MB of memory.
  • Approximately 14 MB of space free on your hard disk for a complete installation (4 MB for a minimum).
  • VGA or compatible video graphics adapter and monitor (color recommended).
NOTE: The box that Works comes in correctly states that Works for Windows 3.0 requires 4 MB of memory.
