BUG: LASER.APP Does Not Compile from Existing LASER.PJXID: Q124922 The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSAttempting to build an Application (.APP) file using the existing LASER project file in the /usr/lib/FoxPro/goodies/laser/unixonly directory fails with the following error message:
Choosing Locate from the error message dialog box, then selecting LASER.SCX
from Tools directory causes the following error message:
RESOLUTIONCreate a new project and add in all the files listed in the original project. You will then be able to build the .APP file using the new project.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem1. Type "MODIFY PROJECT ?" (without the quotation marks) in the Command 2. Select LASER.PJX from the /usr/lib/FoxPro/goodies/laser/unixonly
3. On the next screen you will be asked to specify an application name.
4. Choose Locate. Select LASER.SCX from Tools directory and then choose OK.
FoxPro fails again, displaying the following error message:
