SUMMARY
If you try to delete a loan payment preceded by other payments, you
will not receive a confirmation message.
In Microsoft Money, if you intentionally or unintentionally try to
delete a loan payment from the Loan book, and if that payment is
followed by other loan payments, you will receive the message:
In the <Loan Name> loan there are loan payments following the one
you are changing. Do you want Microsoft Money to recalculate the
Principal/Interest distribution for these payments?
In this situation, you can choose Yes, No, or Cancel:
- Choosing Yes will delete the loan payment, and the Principal /
Interest distributions for the remaining payments will be
calculated.
- Choosing No causes the loan payment to be deleted.
- Choosing Cancel aborts the process.
