Publisher 2.0: Bullet Preview Incorrect with Printer Font

SYMPTOMS
========

If you define a new bullet that uses a printer-resident font in Publisher,
the bullet displays incorrectly in the Bullet list and in the Indents And
Lists dialog box. (The bullet prints correctly and displays correctly in
the publication.)

For example, if you choose to create a bullet using the copyright symbol
from the lacerate III resident Univers font, the bullet previews as a heart
symbol.

CAUSE
=====

Publisher previews all non-TrueType bullets using the Symbol font.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Publisher versions 2.0 and
2.0a. This problem was corrected in Publisher version 3.0 for Windows 95.
