Cannot Sort By Field 2, Field 3, ... in Outline View

SYMPTOMS

In outline view, the Sort By dialog box shows only two options to sort by: Paragraph and Field 1. In normal view, a full list of fields to sort by is available.

This happens only in outline view when the text to be sorted consists of both delimited and non-delimited paragraphs.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

RESOLUTION

Switch to normal view before sorting text.
