XL: RANDBETWEEN() Returns an Incorrect Answer with Fractions

SUMMARY

The RANDBETWEEN() function will not return the correct answer if the arguments given to the function contain a decimal point. If the arguments contain decimal points, the function will return a fractional number, which is incorrect.

MORE INFORMATION

RANDBETWEEN() returns a random integer between the numbers that you specify. A new random number is returned every time the worksheet is calculated.

This function is available when the Analysis ToolPak is installed.
