Automap Streets: Determining Which Counties the Maps Refer To

SUMMARY

To determine the counties to which the maps in Automap Streets refer, see the Help file on CD-ROM Disk #1 called FRONT.HLP. To access this Help file, create an icon in the Automap program group located in Program Manager.

Steps to Create an Icon for Streets Help File

  1. Place the Automap Streets CD-ROM Disk #1 in your CD-ROM drive.
  2. From Program Manager, double-click the Automap group.
  3. From the File menu, choose New.
  4. Choose Program Item and choose OK.
  5. In the Description box, type:

    STREETS HELP

  6. In the Command Line box, type

    d:\front.hlp

    where drive D is your CD-ROM drive. If your CD-ROM drive is a different drive letter, replace "d" above with the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
  7. Choose OK. After you choose OK, a message appears stating:

    The specified path points to a file that may not be available during later Windows sessions? Do you want to continue?

  8. Choose the Yes button.

    NOTE: The Automap Streets CD-ROM Disk #1 must be in the CD-ROM drive when you try to access the Help file.
You should now have an icon in your Automap program group called STREETS HELP.

How to Use the Automap Streets Help File

  1. Double-click the Streets Help icon.
  2. Choose the Search button.
  3. Type the city or county name in which you are interested.
  4. Choose Show Topics.
  5. From the Select A Topic, Then Choose Go To section, choose the Go To button.
