How to Configure Proxy Servers for Internet Assistant |
Q128175
A proxy server is a computer used to separate the Internet from an internal
network for security and connectivity reasons. If you are attempting to
connect to the Internet from your LAN, you must connect to this computer

This article describes how to configure Internet Assistant to use these
proxy servers. For more information, please see your network or system
administrator.
To configure your proxy server, do the following:
http://www.microsoft.com:80.The port number can be appended to the URL by using a colon and the port number. In the example above, the port number is 80.
