Database Form Redraw or Flicker when Typing

SYMPTOMS

When you choose Form from the Works Database View menu and type information in a field, the highlighted area might flicker. This is particularly noticeable with multi-line fields.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Works for Windows, version 3.0. This problem is corrected in Microsoft Works for Windows, versions 3.0a and 3.0b.

MORE INFORMATION

Works 3.0a and 3.0b use white text on a black background when a field is edited, rather than painting the selected field, and then inverting it.
