SUMMARY



Systems Management Server MS-DOS Inventory fails to write .TMP files to the \INVENTRY.BOX directory.

CAUSE

The inventory agent has incorrect path information while trying to write the *.TMP file to the logon server directory \INVENTRY.BOX.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.1. This problem has been corrected in Systems Management Server version 1.2.
