PRJ4: Column Gridline Doesn't Print Below Last Task on Gantt |
Q128984
In Microsoft Project, when you print a Gantt chart that contains a drawing object and fewer than a full page of tasks, the major column gridlines on the Gantt chart may not extend as far as the last drawing object on the page.
This behavior only occurs when you print to a plotter, such as the HP 7550
or the HP DraftPro. If a drawing object on the Gantt chart is located below the last task in the Gantt table, the major column gridlines on the Gantt chart do not appear in print preview or print below the last task in the table.
NOTE: When this problem occurs, if you are printing nonworking time,
the nonworking time prints to the bottom of the last object on the page, as
expected.
To work around this problem, you can turn the major column gridlines off so
that they do not print at all by doing the following:
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
