PRJ4: Incorrect Percent Complete Values in Access Database |
Q129000
In Microsoft Project, when you use the Save To Database command to save your project as a Microsoft Access database, the value in the Percent Complete field may differ from the correct value by a multiple of ten.
This behavior occurs if the Percent Complete value for a task in your project is between one and nine percent. In this case, the value saved to the Access database is a multiple of ten greater than the actual value. For example, if the Percent Complete value for your task is 2 percent, when you save the file as a Microsoft Access database, the corresponding field in the Access database, PctComplete, contains the value .2, or 20 percent. A Percent Complete value of 3 percent is saved as 30 percent, and so on.
NOTE: This problem does not occur when you save your project file to
the MPX file format.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
