Internet Assistant for Word for Windows 95 is a no-charge add-in that makes it easy to create and edit great looking documents for the Internet and internal corporate Web sites. You can create these documents directly in an English, French, German, or Italian language version of Microsoft Word for Windows 95 or Microsoft Word 6.0 for Windows NT.

Setup Instructions

  1. For easiest cleanup, create a new temporary folder on your computer's hard disk and place WORDIA2b.EXE in that folder.

    NOTE: Do not use the Winword or the Winword\Internet folders, or Setup will fail.

  2. From Windows 95 Explorer or File Manager, double-click the Wrdia20z.exe self-extracting file. Setup will begin automatically.

Instructions for Using Internet Assistant

As part of Microsoft's Small Business Resource web site, we have posted an online tutorial for using Internet Assistant version 2.0z. Additional instructions for the use of Internet Assistant can be found in the online Help included with Internet Assistant. When Internet Assistant has completed its installation, start Word for Windows 95, and click Browse Web on the File menu. You can get additional online help by clicking the Internet Assistant For Word command on the Word Help menu.
