SYMPTOMS
When you connect to your preferred NetWare server through the Gateway
Service for NetWare (GSNW) or Client Service for NetWare (CSNW), Windows
NT does not automatically synchronize the time with the NetWare server.
The time is not synchronized even when you use the NET TIME command or the
NetWare SYSTIME command.
CAUSE
The Windows NT GSNW and CSNW do not support the 16-bit NetWare API for
system time synchronization with the NetWare server.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Workstation and
Server versions 3.5, 3.51, and 4.0. We are researching this problem and
will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
