BUG: Memo Field Displayed Incorrectly in Group Header

• Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.6a

SYMPTOMS

If a memo field has more than one page of text, that text is not displayed correctly in the group header band. When you preview the report, the second page is blank.

WORKAROUND

Place the memo field in the Detail band of the report.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. Open a database that contains a memo field. (Make certain the memo field

   of the first record contains over a page of data.)

3. Go to the report menu pad, select data grouping, and choose add.

4. Position a memo field in the group header band and select the Field can

   stretch option.
