To Install A New Printer

To install a new printer, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.


  2. Double-click Add Printer.


  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to finish installing the printer.


  4. Close the Printers window.


Configuring a Printer as the Default Printer

To configure an installed printer as the default printer, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.


  2. Right-click the printer you want set as the default printer, and then click Set As Default.


  3. Close the Printers window.
