SYMPTOMS
Odd behavior occurs when you run a PowerPoint slide show with the products
listed below:
- Explorapedia and Leopard: a color palette shift occurs.
- Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System: Blocks of color appear
around some objects.
WORKAROUND
Use the following steps to work around the problem:
- Return to PowerPoint.
- Minimize PowerPoint.
- Return to the Microsoft Kids' application.
Each time you return to PowerPoint, you must minimize it before
returning to the Kids' application.
RESOLUTION
The only known resolution is to upgrade to Windows 95 or to use
Windows NT.
MORE INFORMATION
The palette shift results from interaction between PowerPoint's graphics
display palette management system and the Windows video driver.
