Remote Control Causes The SMS Administrator to GP Fault

SYMPTOMS

Remotely controlling a Windows 95 client may cause the Systems Management Server Administrator to cause a General Protection (GP) Fault. The problem usually occurs after you switch back and forth between the various Helpdesk features.

Also, after you exiting a remote session with a Windows 95 client you may experience problems establishing a new remote session.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.1. This problem was corrected in the latest US Service Pack for Systems Management Server. For information on obtaining this update, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
