How to Remove Local Copies of Projects with Microsoft Delta

ID: Q130882

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Delta for Windows, version 1.0

To save disk space, Delta allows a project member to add files to a project without creating local copies. When you load a project's .MAK file in Visual Basic, Visual Basic displays a 'file not found' message for each non- local file.

To avoid the 'file not found' messages, create a separate .MAK file that includes the files you want to work with (local copies). This additional .MAK file should not be added to the Delta project. Any unnecessary files can be removed by choosing Remove Local Copy from the Edit menu.
