PRJ4: Program Error When You Name Macro "VBA.MPP" or "VBA" |
Q131180
If you create a new macro and name it "VBA.MPP" (without the quotation marks) or "VBA" (without the quotation marks, Macintosh only) and you store the macro in the current file, you may receive one of the following error messages:
A General Protection Fault Occurred in WINPROJ.EXE (Windows)
-or-
Out of String Space (Macintosh)
The "VBA" filename conflicts with the Visual Basic for Application DLL files that are installed with Microsoft Project.
To avoid this problem, do not name a macro "VBA" or "VBA.MPP."
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
