SYMPTOMS

From your Windows NT Workstation, when you disconnect and reconnect to two network shares with the same password on a Windows for Workgroups 3.11 computer running the NetWatcher utility, the following STOP Message appears (on your Windows NT Workstation client):

When you do the same from your Windows NT Server, the following STOP Message appears (on your Windows NT Server client):
  STOP: 0X0000001E
  KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

CAUSE

The Windows NT network redirector, RDR.SYS, confuses the security entries for the two connections. It tries to assign a security entry to the wrong share and causes an access violation.

Changes have been made to RDR.SYS that correct this problem.
