SYMPTOMSIssuing the MODIFY WINDOW SCREEN FILL FILE <picture file> command doesn't cause the fill file to show on the FoxPro screen unless the Command window is moved or some other action is taken to cause the desktop to refresh.
RESOLUTIONHere are two ways to get the fill file to show up:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0b for Macintosh.
MORE INFORMATIONThis problem will most affect applications that modify the desktop screen at startup. The complete workaround would be to combine the three commands listed below in the program that modifies the desktop screen.
Steps to Reproduce ProblemDo not use the mouse when attempting to reproduce the problem. Using the mouse may cause the Command window to be moved accidentally; then the problem doesn't show up. In the FoxPro Command window, issue the following commands:
