The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, when you click and hold down the mouse to move a spinner that controls an edit box, label, or text box in a custom dialog box, the value in the associated object (edit box, label, or text box) may not be changed until you release the mouse button.
CAUSEThis problem occurs when you create a custom dialog box and display it with a macro. This behavior occurs because of the way the Macintosh interprets mouse actions.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, verify the value in the associated box by clicking the mouse button rather than by pressing it down and holding it.
